What is Happiness? How do you find the road to it.
Maria Wæhrens has never been afraid to answer even the biggest questions in her work. Therefore you should not depend on the paintings in her solo show are like maps or route descriptions showing you the way to Heaven, love or the good life.
Instead Maria Wæhrens question mark almost everything – from sexuality, over the so called normal, to what happiness really is.

My world in Your world is a touring exhibition, focuses on the world of the immigrants, which is extremely invisible, but at the same time, a linked part of our own world – and our different worlds cross each other numerous times every day. We normaly experiencing the world of the immigrants through the media and in the political debate, but how is their world seen through the camera lens of the artist and through their own eyes?
The Exhibition was initially showed 2007 in the Main Library of Albertslund Municipality, Denmark. The exhibition consists of 15 new, large photo prints, and The Art Project Immigrant Image, Exhibition and Archive.
