Rahbek (Lars Rahbaek Lund) is born 1973 in Skjern, DK. Graduated the Graphic Arts Institute of Denmark. Has been working as Art Director. The last few years he has been working creating his own artistic impression.

Rahbek works in an expressive universe – not because of the colour, but due to the many, seeking directions of the brushstrokes. Here is evidence of action-painting from the post-war-era using a drop tecnique where the paint is streaming down the canvas.
A universe – clearly inspirered from the sixties, with eyes on american art , from the use of text fragments in the painting to popular cultural icons, but with a darkness and a destructive atmosphere, which remind us of the punk culture and grafitti painting of the eighties.
